I come across a cloche hat pattern on craftsters.org about two week ago, I really like the way it fit. I been reading all the post there to find out how much yarn do I need and the pattern stated 300 yarn. So I brought 9 balls of yarn but end up I only use 2 balls.. obviously I miss read some important note, ..yes they use double strands where else I use only single strands on heavy worsted yarn. I have altered the pattern a little on the brim just to make it a bit thicker so it does roll up.

Pattern : One Skein Stirling Cloche
Yarn : Nireana japanese yarn – 100% wool
Yardage : 81m on heavy worsted weight
Needle : 6mm

I really like your alteration on the brim. Could you let us know how you did that? I would like to add it to my first attempt at this hat

Your items are absolutely beautiful. You should sell some things on Etsy.com. You don’t do you?
