Finish, finish….yes, I did scream out loud when I finished this scarf..ha..ha. and I was so excited. When I first saw this scarf in Brooklyn Tweed, I was totally in love with it. I knew I have six balls of Noro Kureyon on my stash and I have no idea what do to with it.. still I wasn’t so sure would in came out the same result as I use single colourway instead of different colourway. Anyhow, I decided to give it a go since I don’t want to spend money on buying another colour.

I begin with pick up different colour end from two ball either from inside or outside, and the colour will rotate different direction to create stripe effect.

Stripe 1 : gold, white, teal…
Stripe 2 : black, green, gold…

And yes, same tone colour will crash in the middle but as the nature of noro, no two colour is exact identical, you still can see the lightly striped effect.

As I mention before on the last post, I love how the colour change in Noro yarn. I basically racing through this scarf within a week, it is a very nice quick knit between major project. I followed the exact pattern from Brooklyn Tweed, 1×1 rib on two row stripe.
- Co 39sts
- slip1(purlwise) , knit 1, purl 1 to the end.
oh..and always bring the yarn up from the back while changing the colour, I did on the first few row bring it up from the front and the switch line is really obvious. This is really one fantastic pattern, before I could even finish this scarf, my husband already claimed as his and I could see the second piece (for me, ha..ha) is coming soon .
