Pattern : Lady Eleanor from Scarfstyle
Yarn : Rowan Tapestry
Yardage: 3 balls
Needle: 4mm
This scarf was finished and blocked a month ago and left sitting at the corner almost forgotten until last night, I finally have time to sit down finished up the fringe. I suppose to give to my friend 3 weeks ago, when she came back for holiday…lucky, she is not going to leave until the mid of November. I have quite a hard time doing this scarf, mainly because of the a yarn and the colour. Initially, I done it in Noro Kureyon but I don’t think she will like bright colour, so I change to Rowan Tapestry and her favorites colour. However, this yarn is too hairy and the colour change is a bit too subtle for me, and it really dragging me down each time I pick up the scarf. I feel such relieved when I finally got it done last night. I hopes she will like it.

What a wonderful gift. I think it is absolutely gorgeous. It is so interesting how different people are attracted to different things. I love the subtleness of the color change. Do you think you will make this pattern again with more vibrant colors?

I wanted to add, that the colors are like light reflecting off water. So nice.

It’s beautiful!! I think the color changes are perfect…but I could see how it would get boring with just blue. But it looks great!

Wow, I love Wicked with puffed sleeves!! I’ve been thinking about knitting it for a long time, but never felt quite sure… with the sleeves puffed up, though, the proportions would work much better on me. Good idea! I think I’ll try this one after all!
