This top supposed to be done and wear it on the first day of Chinese New Year, but I only decided to seam it up after three day pass Chinese New Year when I get really bored at home… I guess is still consider I make it…did I?? As I mention on the last post the reason is been hold on for so long, because I really do hate knitting two identical panel., by the time I finished I feel so exhausted…but relief.
This is the second Japanese top I did and same problem happen again, the size is a bit small even I have the right gauge. I guess is might be the Japanese pattern are a bit small even it said free size. Washing this top is like soaking seaweed, is slippery and stretching…the yarn get really soft while is wet but once it dried, it when back to the feel of paper or dried seaweed, only slightly softer than unwash yarn. I have to stretch the top to the maximum due to the size problem, I was a bit worried about the hole will gets really big and uneven while I blocked it, but then if I don’t do that, this top gonna end up in a drawer as the others. (don’t look to close, the sts does gets uneven!!)
